Still have not camoed the boat or built a blind, Might just have to buy one! Or maybe one of you that have built a good one could help me? Need to get my dog out and freshend up (YOU FAT *censored* DRAKE!) your still my BFF, LOVE YOU. Sharpen the impeller damn rocks,go thru the deeks, go Deer hunting, go fill my cow tag in the Taneum hopefully? Wash my waterfoul gear LOL. the list seems never ending. Kinda wish I could get laid off from now till the end o Jan. not really waterfoul hunting is still pricey.

great pics looks like you got a nice duck boat there. also a good friend to take with you  good luck with you seasons
-
How effective are those dog vests supposed to be?
-
that type is more to help keep them warm. they make some that are more boyant.
-
It is a buoyancy vest, I got from Cabelas, it's more to keep him warm and protect his chest, some times those cattails are pretty tough on a dog.
-
hey malardman... I really like that boat.
What kind and model is it?

That's bad luck. I don't think I washed my jacket once last season. It was like a fresh cup of coffee in the morning. It smelled so bad that you didn't dare go back to sleep. I always had plenty of room at my end of the blind.

If I spend time in the salt, I will definitely wash down my waders, as well as give everything else a good rinse before putting it away for the season. If it's just mud and dirt I don't worry about it.
-
ok I guess we can let that pass :chuckle: :chuckle:

Have any of you smelled your gear? my waders smell just like my dog, after hunting behind the Everett poo ponds, Thats why I don't hunt there anymore, I'm going back to the potholes this year, have not hunted there since I was a little one with my pop's. Hope I can remember my way around. I remember getting lost in the fog for a couple hours with my old man, I was like 12, I was cold and crying, yelling I want my mommy :'( (or something like that.) Even a horable trip like that turned me into a waterfoul junkie. Everybody needs to take a kid hunting. Anybody knows any good holes over there and is boat acces-only ( and you don't own one) hit me up with a pm I'm always up for new waterfoul buddies with good ETHICS!

91 Smokercraft Whitewater,1654 w-30'' gunnels handles rough water like a champ but rides like sheeet! in it, 90hp Yamaha 2stroke with jet. I bought just cause the high gunnels, cause Ru-woods can turn in a hurry with the wind! if ya know what I mean.
-
Where do you live? Me and my cousin/hunting partner have built a few blinds on his boats in the past with some pretty good success. And he paints cars for a living and does a mean camo job if you're interested. PM me if ya want.

wow you sure know your eastside waters!!!!! Rufus can turn very quickly, Nice boat

I don't bother washing my hunting wear since the Westside rains do a great cleansing job. My wife thinks it leaves a little to be desired in the odor department but my dog doesn't seem to notice.
