Not a great picture but with the full skull/rack on the rocks in the background makes it kinda unique. There is a closer pic of the skull in my other post in this section.
Edit. This pic was not taken in Washington. I know this is Hunt Washington but I thought I would post anyways. It was taken in Yellowstone.

I was hoping for some better moose shots, but the weather wasn't cooperating much. Maybe I'll get a sheep shot or two.

All right everyone, I am posting a few pics that I thought you all might enjoy. They are photos from my friend Buck Shreck and his wildlife photography business. They are not entries of any kind, simply being shared to showcase what a true "Masterpiece" of photography looks like. In the world of outdoor photography, you will not find any better. These images can be viewed in higher quality on his flickr photostream at:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/buckswildlifephotography/with/4601628474/ (http://www.flickr.com/photos/buckswildlifephotography/with/4601628474/)
and here at his personal web page:

I hope you enjoy these photos that fit into the "other big game" category as much as I do.

CONGRATULATIONS MAGNUM WILLYs. Your moose won this months photo contest. As stated in the rules, there will be no tie. I usually handle it by a vote off between the two photos, but this time will be different. I noted that Alwine's Cat photo is actually oversized, though it was close. Rules are rules and since it came down to a deciding vote, thats where it stands.
Make sure you contact Ray about your video. CONGRATULATIONS GUYS on such a tough competetion this month. Now lets see some field photos in this months competetion.
-
Congrats to the winner
Nice job
-
Thx Bone and all. Its frosting on the cake to a great October youth hunt to get the October photo appreciation. We had the first steaks from my son's cow moose tonight. The butcher was right - he aged it 12 days and its great.
