i have to say nooksack, it looks almost identicle to the west side GOV. bull from this year, they almost have to be related or this was him last year, wayyyyyyy to similar :twocents:

Collar is different on this bull, and doesn't look to have the mass of a Rosie.  I would guess off of Blewitt Pass.

Not sure just trying to put 2 and 2 together.... the way you replied in the tribal thread made me wonder ... especially about the wetside tribes working with the state regarding counting elk and management.  If you bowhunt and were in the Taneum for early elk ....

I confess I have spent a lot of time in the Nooksack.  Been working up there since 1999.  I have enjoyed seeing the success of the hunters in the Nooksack in the past few years. It is interesting to follow how many of the bulls that we collar get harvested each year.  There are some great bulls up there.

I would have to agree, I though the same thing about the body size.  He must be using performance enhancers...?

Picture was taken in late winter/early spring.  Caution - Actual elk looks larger through scope or binoculars.  ;)

i was going to say Nooksack too just by how similiar it does look to the gov tag bull.  I also thought it might be a tribal collar.   I hope he lives to spread those genes.
