this is the holster I ordered for my 629-5 smith 44mag..Simply rugged holsters are the folks that are going to make it,,Its called the sourdough pancake.no fancy anything on it,but after discussions with the owner Im sold on this one

No snagging with that one when that critcal moment comes again. Looks good.

I feel naked out there without the mag on me..

I have the same holster to carry my SP101 32 mag while coyote hunting. It's a little stiff, but works good. I haven't used it much so I'm assuming it will soften up a bit as it gets used.

I carry a 329pd in a mitch rosen which is VERY similar to that. I have no complaints. quick to draw, easy to re holster and always there......looks good too.

I like the extra belt slot in case ya want to wear it,in front sideways also..I good position when calling bears and toting a rifle

I have the same holster for my 4" Redhawk in 45 Colt. The quality is top notch, but I'm not sure I like the way the holster fits me. It carries the gun very high on the hip. This is only a problem for me because I have a short torso.
I would also like it if the belt loops were farther apart so that the holster got pulled closer into my hip. I like my handgun to be held tight to my body so that it's out of the way. This holster carries the gun a little farther out than I like. These are just my personal problems with the holster because of my body type. I don't think that it's anything wrong with the holster.
