Wow them are nice pics, that last one is a monster. I can't wait.
-
Damn dude, and here I was worried you might not find a turkey this year.
-
It is not looking good for opening day. They will be all henned up I am thinking. Oh well, I can sleep in and hit them mid morning.
-
THey are behind this year, so you should be fine. They are in big Tom groups at the moment, at least in the COlville/Kettle area.
-
nice pics. Are you going on the youth hunt? I've holding off until some snow melts. Were the turkeys pretty low (elev)? I'm planning to scout this weekend for the youth hunt.

Looks like there are a few jakes in that flock of birds. That gobbler in your second post is a great looking bird. Thanks for sharing your pictures.
-
there was a few jakes in all the groups.
i love that big longbeard...he'd look good through my hi-viz sights :)

dont see any hatchling in there. You should hold out until you find some hatchlings to go after. No reason to shoot biguns. Hatchlings arent as tough. :chuckle:

looks like a great day in the blues.
-
I agree with mossback, I shot a 18 lb. mature gobbler last year. The breast meat could not be chewed!!!
I am a Jake hunter from now on!

You are kidding? Ate our first bird last Thanksgiving, and found it was awesome! It was an older bird...i guess...the spurs were huge but the tips rounded and chipped down...
