Do you agree with recently proposed legislation that would remove the gray wolf from the Endangered Species Act?

I just noticed we have 2 threads going on this. I posted on the other one, though I would paste it over here.
Did a google search to read more on the actual bill and found several links to sites on both sides of the issue trying to recruit voters.
How can both yes and no votes be above 50%?
Anyway, I think it is good that these senators are trying to get something accomplished but also have to wonder about the 2 Democratic senators motives. Are they just trying to save their jobs?

There is another bill not yet introduced by a Republican Senator, Denny Rehberg...
Rehberg's draft bill is considerably simpler. It would amend the Endangered Species Act to read: "Any Rocky Mountain gray wolf in Idaho or Montana shall not be treated as an endangered species," and would give those states "exclusive jurisdiction" to manage wolves.
Hopefully they are not going to try the bait and switch!
Neither of the bills is expected to see formal congressional action until Congress reconvenes after Election Day.
