Want to make this clear right away, I spoke to the game agent handling this and gave me permission to post photos. I'm not at liberty to say where it was found, but this bull was located dead in the field by two hunters. The game agent skinned the entire animal and found no sign of foul play. No entry hole was located of anykind. It is believed it died of old age. Any guesses on score...I know one thing...he's BIG!
-
I guess we'll see this monster in some WDFW office somewhere What a beautiful bull

Holy Crap!

That's him, sure makes me happy to know he lived a full one too. I apologize for jumping to conclusions

I think my buddy has one of his sheds from last year. He will be disappointed that he has passed away. Maybe his Harem was too big, and he just flat wore himself out!!

Women have killed more than one of us.
-
That is one awesome animal..
-
Rut must have been too hard on the old boy! I don't get the secrecy on location though if there was no foul play. :dunno:
-
WOW. What does everyone think he scores?
-
Lots
-
I can't believe the game agent didn't at least cape it... Where is the respect and appreciation, that thing is HUGE!
-
noting all the magpie *censored* on his antlers, I am guessing the cape was worthless.
-
My wife picked the kids up at school and saw this on the way home at the Police station. Was on the phone in seconds to let me know. I will check with a few of my friends that are Cle Elum police and try to verify a tape score tomorrow when I get off work. Makes me think of the 8x9 I saw this year 3 different times. Some nice elk in this state this year.
-
word has it from a WDFW employee that the rack will be auctioned off in Olympia. If you have the cash its yours!!!!
-
what a bull. To bad it had to die of old age.
-
Thats a monster WA bull
-
A Texas heart shot won't leave a bullet hole?
-
GEARHEAD - Its not Zues, but I believe he was taken this year with an archery permit. If we have the same information about the same bull, I saw a photo of it yesterday. It green scored 410, again not sure if we are speaking of the same bull though.
As far getting it tested for reason of death, I believe they will be testing it. It was not scored by the game agent but he advised me he would be getting it officially scored. When I learn of its score I will post it.

This could have been the work of Pathfinder101's Yeti!!! Probably broke the bull's neck!

very cool that he outlived the many seasons. Very impressive bull by all measures character, mass, length.
-
He's a monster
-
That is one giant pig. OMG!!!! :yike: :yike:
-
Sad indeed. Solid 420" imo.
-
What a great bull! If there is no foul play and they determine this bull died of natural causes why can't the guys who found it keep it? Wouldn't it be like finding sheds?
-
teanaway bull. Love to see them. Like all of muzzle season. it's awesome to see satelite bulls that are around 350 that are getting there arses handed to them by bulls like this. Sure the indians will be here soon.

You can keep sheds. You can't keep skulls that you find in this state.
-
jesus what a rack
-
You can keep sheds. You can't keep skulls that you find in this state.
That all depends on who you talk to, it has been done, I know of several, one last year by a member who contacted WDFW and was allowed to keep it.

holy sh!t :yike: beautiful animal. but ya that is true. glad that old feller died of natural causes. hell he deserved it.

I kind of thought that would be the case, but I wasn't sure. Figured someone on here would know for sure. Thanks Jackelope!

I'd buy that. You can ask and can get the ok. I guess all I was saying is that you or I can't just walk into the woods and pick up a skull and take it home without permission.
-
I hope he got to hump many cows before he expired, holly bull :yike:
-
That's a stud.
-
I think I'd have passed on him. He looks a little week up top for my taste.
OK, seriously, I think it's pretty cool that a big boy like that still has a chance to die of old age in this state. He has to be in a very small minority.
-
teanaway bull.
Granite creek. This bull is no secret
Which is he :dunno: I am pretty sure not to many people knew about this bull
-
I was told by a good sourse tat he had a gore wound that punctured his chest cavity and was full of infection . I'm sure his blood line is all over that area.RIP old boy.

we found a dead one on the colockum last year and Gamie Mike said we could have the spikes & head if we wanted after he looked the critter over.
But someone beat us to the antlers with their saw before we could bag up the head. would have been a cool skull on my shed in the yard too.
-
Clearly that is one amazing bull. unbelieveable that a guy that big died of old age. Just glad it was that way and not by some idiots poaching. Im sure that his gene pool will live on in that area..
-

-
