So I went out to check the game cams, switched the cards and on my way back to the cabin I looked down and saw this track...

It had rained pretty hard the day before so the tracks weren't clear but still easy enough to tell what made them. When I looked through the pics this is what I saw...look in the upper right corner by the larch tree.

I zoomed in and it was all too clear >:(

Good eyes.
-
Looks like a well fed coyote! ;)
-
What vicinity is this wolf in?
-
big yote. >:(
-
This is at our cabin near Clarkia, Idaho. Less than 300 yards from our front door. A few years ago from the exact location I caught another pic of a wolf. No surprise there are wolves around here, but too close for comfort.

:bash: >:( that's $h!tty that they are in your hunting area.
-
to be honest i dont apy attention to all the wolf regs and stuff. so in idaho can you easily get a tag and and bag him. or can u go buy three 3 sheep and and let the wolf do what it's gona do then react in self defense of your livestock?
-
Wish it was as easy as getting a wolf tag in Idaho. It was announced over the weekend that there will be no wolf hunting season this year. It got shut down by a federal court judge. :bash:
-
First off - good eyes for spotting that in your pic!! But on the other hand I am sorry to hear that you spotted that in your pic... :'( It's only a matter of time and the wolves will do to Washington what they have done to Idaho... >:( :bash:
-
Yote. :mgun:
;)
-
Definately a coyote. ;)
-
this seems like a good place for a couple land mines
-
with my bad eyes I would have shot it thinking he was a world record yote :P
-
Sorry to see that, you know what to do. enough said... :bash: >:(
-
I am totally on board with the sentiment here, and I am NOT excited about the wolves in WA.
however, that is an awesome picture.
-
big yote. >:(
sorry, your crazy :chuckle: im kiding, in my opinion that is obviously a gray wolf go grab your regs and look at the picture of a coyote and wolf and its way to clear.
-
Good find. Now what..... I hope you will help point where to all as hunter to know where Exactly! ;) I hope your not protecting Coyotes from us...

looks like a well fed coyote and needs to be disposed of :chuckle:

Looks to me like it's your neighbors dog that been killing your cats. Take care of the problem.

I looked down and saw a Glock then I noticed the track... :dunno: :chuckle:

If you look real close at the zoomed in picture it almost looks like a second animal standing head on just to the upper right corner. Did you see more than one set of tracks?
