For my Marlin 39A. Haven't shot it yet, just got it the other day. Looks nice on the gun.

Is that the XS Ghost Ring?
If so, good sight system.

No, I forget the name, but I think it is made in as small shop in MT. I've got the card at home.

Have you used the XS ghost ring? How do you like it? Im thinking about putting one on a muzzleloader...

can you see over your back sight? Did you have to raise the front sight?

I haven't shot it yet. I took the elevation adjusmement clip/piece out of the original rear sight and I can see the front sight just fine.
I really like this gun and it shoots fine, but I was surfing the NET and saw this and thought I would give it a try. I think it is a good looking addition to the rifle.
The rifle was a hand-me-down from my dad, so it has sentimental value, and I plan on keeping it.

I did that once on a Marlin 30/30. had to raise my front sight about 1/4 inch. It shot like 12 inches high until I did.

Good for in-close, not for 50yds or more precise shooting.
Not a real peep aperture, more for point and shoot.

:)I disagree Thinkingman, I use one a bit I find 2-3 inch targets at 100 yards a piece of cake with them. Your eye naturally centers the bead.
