Thought these were pretty funny, my dad got a pet bobcat from Minesota a couple years ago and raised it, that bull is a WA bull too.
-
COOL! What's a pet bobcat cost? Are they good pets?
-
Here kittykitty... ;) Nice pics...funky horns
-
There's a license process to go through. We had a bear when i was a kid...they don't make great pets.
-
I knew a guy who had a bobcat years ago, raised it from a kitten. I would have to say it wasn't a good pet.
It never got mean but REALLY rough and it was declawed.
-
Let me asure you that I wouldn't post this picture if i knew it was illegal. There is a license you have to obtain, and numerous veterinary forms etc.... The local game warden knows as well so not a problem there. After shipping it out here and everything like shots etc... i think it was around $1000 or something, its an awsome animal. When you feed it raw meat its like a cocaine high or something that thing is bouncing off the walls and running all over the place. It can get mean, and probably isn't the best pet, but if you're around it a lot its awesome.

Yeah I would have to say that is a unique set of horns, like the double eyeguards come right out of the stump and not off the main beam !!
Very cool !! :chuckle:
-
I know a guy in Cle Elum who has a Big Bobcat for a pet, I thought it looked pretty cool. With all the crap they had done to it; It's just a BIG house cat now.

Bad Kitty, get off the damn elk!
That kitty start turning your mount into a scratching post?
-
cool pet!! not sure if it's for me or not, but it would definetly be different!!!
Bad Kitty, get off the damn elk!
That kitty start truning your mount into a scratching post?
And that would be something I'd be worried about!!! :chuckle:
-
That was a one time thing, it was funny at first but then it got up there again and they taught it a lesson, it no longer gets up there and its declawed so it wouldn't scratch it, didn't do any damage to the mount at all.

I
want NEED one. I'm sort of an impulsive shopper... :chuckle:
-
Cute kitty...I'd like to have one for about the first 12-18 months.
After that, no thanks.
I've seen some pretty big bobcats, and I'd rather not have one with a "half-wild" mentality running around the house.
When I first saw the pic I thought it was stuffed on top of the elk and I started thinking, "Hmmm, why didn't I go that route with my kitty--sit him on top of the bear..."
Talk about a unique pet...
-
That's a nice Wa bull. Cool pet too!
-
burglars beware ;)
-
i want one!!!
-
Way cool..remember my mom bought some stupid exotic cat, flew it across the country, not supposed to let it outside. Jumped out an open window and it was coyote food. Cost way more then that bobcat, and the bobcat is ten times better looking and grows bigger. Besides if it got out it would probably live a little longer.
-
that is awesome
i need to get me one so my cat "monster" will stop attacking me at random moments.
my other cats dont play with him so he takes it out on me
-
What a cool looking cat... that would be too cool. We had several coons and a porcupine when I was young. Dam coons used to bite the $%#$# outta me... they were still cool pets though!

Nice elk and cat. The lever action aint bad either
