I think there is definately something wrong with me. I'm starting to see guns as I do fishing equipment. I've been told jokingly that I have a sickness when it comes to poles and lures. But now I have this fetish with guns. Never really got into them since I bow hunt but something switched in my brain. I'm not paranoid and I'm not rich. Maybe it's because I'm 10 months away from getting married and we have seperate accounts for now. Normal? :dunno:

Don't question it, just keep buying! You're doing your part to help the economy. I'm guilty of buying pretty much anything that's for sale at a reasonable price.

I've found myself doing the same thing.
Started off with a 6mm Rem (my deer rifle)
Then I thought to myself I need something "stronger for Elk". So I picked up a 7mm savage.
Then a Mosberg 12g for Turkey,
Then a 30-06 for deer/elk
Then a .22 just cause I wanted a varmint gun.
Up graded to a .17hmr for fun.
Now I got a sweet deal on a Model70 Winchester .308 (perfect deer gun I told myself).
Son is going deer hunting for his 1st time this year, went and picked up a .243 Rem
This has gone on within a 3yr spand. :chuckle:
I almost have more guns than fishing poles now.

You sound a little like my Nephew, now over the edge with Fly Fishing. Started out buying every gun he found, had some neat, rare military stuff. Allll Gooone, yep got married...she allows the fishing stuff but the only guns left are the gifts from me... :dunno: :chuckle:

If,you know what you are buying and what is worth, you can make more money than most stocks! It is money in the bank and very easy to liquidate, if the need arises.I just run out of room to put them.LOVE GUNS,AND ALWAYS WILL!!

:yeah:
Having some "precious metals'' to sell off as saved my butt after a couple unexpected job losses, lay offs etc...and I only miss one enough to flinch, maybe 2... :chuckle:

+1 I am really arguing with myself recently whether to take my new 7mm08 when I go for rifle elk here in WA or my 325wsm or the 300 winny. Would really like to kill an elk with that 7mm08, but the others are truly"better" elk calibers. Not that the 7mm08 is insufficient either, jesus, now I sound like a woman deciding which shoes to wear. :dunno: Sorry if I hijacked the thread. My answer, keep buying guns.

The smell of powder will cause that to happen.

Very cool, that will be a nice little carry piece. Love my Ruger revolvers.

I don't think there is such a thing as too many guns. If you're smart about the purchases you can't go wrong. I have yet to lose money on a gun.
-
you can never have to many guns, period! :)
