Sent this Life Size Color Phase out the door Saturday for it's new home. Bear was roughly 200lbs and had an excellent coat. Perfect candidate for a Life Size. You will have to excuse the messy shop in the back ground. I didn't get a chance to get pictures of him til the day he left and the customer had a long way to drive to take the Bear to his cabin. So I took the pic's in the shop instead of setting up a back ground or outside.

What does a lifesize like that weigh? Someday when I get a cat I would like to lifesize. I have the perfect place on the "wall of death" as my wife calls it.

I am new to this site and have been viewing as a guest for quite sometime, and tonight my son talked me into finally signing up...Just saw your pics of the bear and that Mount came out AWESOME!!! Great work... I know where I will be bringing my next critter to be mounted!!!

Wow Michelle that turned out nice!! I seen that Mount in progress at Michelle's shop those Pictures don't do that mount justice. Michelle has a way with Bears that you have to see her work to fully appreciate it!!
Way to go lady that guy has to be stoked!!

Beautiful mount

What is on his nose in the third pic? Has he been doing a little of the "booger sugar"? Great looking mount by the way!

That mount was not all that heavy. I moved it around the shop quite a bit while it was drying and during finnishing by myself. Including lifting it up on my work bench to do the base work. I would say no more than 75lbs I would imagine. It is kinda hard to guage it because it is kinda awkward lifting it. So between 60 and 75 lbs.

Wow , that's blue ribbon quality Michelle . That customer must realy be happy!! Congratulations, you rock! :rockin: :rockin: :rockin:

Thanks a lot guys. I hope to bring in a few more Life Size projects this year. :)

If I every shoot a bear that pretty ill let you do a full body mount. How much does that cost?
-
Depends on how big the Bear is and what you want done. That Bear was mounted on a form right out of the catolog and the base and rock were ordered out of the catolog to. Plus he had the skull Cleaned and whitened. The bill after tax was right at $2,600.

Nice job Michelle
