So on Tuesday I took my wife with me in to some feel free to hunt land here in the Tricities area. After a four mile hike in my wife was tired and decided to sit for awhile. Trying to be nice I told her I was just going to walk over one more draw and take a look (three draws later) I see this little 2x3 laying in the brush with some doe a spike and a 2x2 as this was the only deer I saw after four days of hunting that was legal so I decided to take him. He looks little but he did not feel little on the pack out.

Your right there was a road about 2 miles away however it was over steeper terain and when I got to that road what should I have done? I guess I could of hitch hiked to where my truck was or maybe walk all the way around on the road only about 7 miles. You are right walking to the closest road is always the best. What was I thinking? :bash:

Good job and your persistence paid-off

Any buck on feel free to hunt land is a great buck! Nice going!

Jayrod, Just a thought. :dunno:
Based on the story that you had told me of this hunt, I was under the impression that ground was allot steeper. You should of had your wife tilt the camera a little more, to match the hellish story you told me. :chuckle:
Congratulations on a well earned Trophy!!!

I've been waiting for your comment. :chuckle: That photo was in the first 25 yards of the pack out. I should of had her take more but we were to tired. Ohh and thanks for calling it a "Trophy" :chuckle:
