So I learned a hard lesson today, which is:
When checking your trail cam DURING hunting season, NEVER check it without your bow/gun in hand....coulda/shoulda/woulda had a 3x2 blacktail buck this evening. 15 yard kill shot. DOH!
That won't happen again.

 Thats all i can say !!!
-
Been there :bash:..and you definitely won't forget your gun next time..
-
Sounds like you got your camera in the right spot. :chuckle:
-
Man that is a good thing.
-
Well, do you have a trail cam pic of the buck?
-
LOL thats funny but I feel for ya. it sounds like my kinda luck :chuckle:
-
Also, always have your gun handy when your butt is hanging over a log. I was squeezing one out one blistery day and looked up to see a 3x3 watching me. :bash:
-
ouch!

Just gotta hope it happens again! Good luck

To add salt to the wound there is no pic of the buck. I saw it when I was heading to my camera about 100 yards away. Only a few does on the camera.
