Oh crap RAINGEAR AGAIN!!!
so here's the deal, figured out that most of my issues are from drenching underbrush soaking my pants and wicking down my legs and into my boots. so i am tossing around options for just rain pants logged over 100 miles yesterday store hopping, there are a helluva lot of options so a couple of questions 1 is there any good gear for a cheap price $20 to $50 that anyone is aware of and is it worth looking at cheaper stuff or 2 i was looking real hard at the new rivers west frontier pant wife thinks they are a bit spendy but i really like the material 3 has anybody used or have any thoughts about russel outdoors gear
thanks for any input

These are what I use. And they are great.
I found them for about half the price listed on this page.

I'm a fa of Gore-Tex, myself.  Can get damp from sweat, but I've never had it leak on me.

I just ordered the hitech ? bibs from Bass Pro.  Half off.  Waterproof, but no insulation, so you can layer as you like.

49.94

Add some gaiters too - they will keep you from tearing up the bottom of the pants/ keep the legs from rubbing together :twocents:

Stay away from rivers west I bought some last year big regret. Like wearing a suit to cut weight for a fight. You can feel the sweat beading up and then running down your body. That is with the vents open. This year I am going to try cabelas dry plus uninsulated fleece or pony up some big money for some quality camo wool. We'll see bagin cave has the dry plus pants at a pretty good price and I've heard good things.

Well bit the bullit and got some of the cabelas dry plus not the most expensive but still $100 bucks out the door hopefully i will be happy with it ,feels nice with a 60 day money back satisfaction guarantee we'll see what late season dishes out.
