So what are the rules/laws for hunting sheds in washington oregon. Do i need a permit? And if I find sheds in oregon can I transport them back to washinton without any problems?

Until they figure out a good way to make a profit from shed hunting, which I can't believe they haven't yet. You don't need any permit to pick up sheds. There are some wintering areas that are closed to public access until certain dates though.

They also frown upon you taking them out of the national parks.......but none of us would ever think of that ;)

eventually they may go the way of th germans and say that they have to stay on the ground for the sake of the other animals that munch on them. Lame. mice dont need anymore food.

Josh, please don't share that idea with authorities over here... ;)

eventually we wont be aloud off pavement without a pass :chuckle:

I was telling some of my wifes family about how I was training my dog to find sheds. One of them who lives in the big city listened carefully and asked a few questions and finished by asking me how much the license was to look for sheds. No outdoor experience whatsoever and hasn't even been camping. I think she has been living in Seattle too long. She was surprised we were allowed to go after them without a license. Bet it wont be too long.
