A friend mentioned something about a potential state or world record moose shed found here in Washington not too long ago. Anyone know anything about this or hear anything?

This is something he just saw last week, not sure how long ago it was found or if maybe he read it wrong. It came off the internet though so it could just be bogus. I'll keep doing some looking around and see if I can find anything about it.
-
After doing some checking, it looks like it was found in 07. So it looks to be the current number 3 now. Still pretty cool, I saw a moose last week that could very well be the next state record. Now if I could just draw a damn tag!!

I think Shane(wa) claimed he had state record sheds. Maybe search his name. :dunno:

These are the ones, bad pic but u get the idea. I dont know what happened to them, my dad worked with the guy and he no longer is with the company. Le Clerc creek. Those are the ones Shane(wa) said he found. So your saying that your dad worked with the guy who found them? Maybe shane(wa) was full of :crap: after all.
-
This is cracking me up.... :chuckle:
*I'm sure some know why... ;)
No, why?
-
I NEVER said I found those!! ever.

I NEVER said I found those!! ever.
No? Sure thought you did. Why the name change? I think it was something to do with you seeing 200" moose everyday and what not then you posted pics of the sheds "you" found. Could be wrong, if so, sorry but thats the way I remebered it. :dunno:
-
ShaneWA got banned so he signed up with a new username.
:dunno:
I'm pretty sure he never said he picked up those sheds. I remember the story the same as it's posted now.
-
That's correct.. at the time they were pending official score as new state record sheds and possible all time. Never heard anything on the score.. dunno where they are or the guy.
-
I would like to fine one like that! A matched set Oh Boy
-
Here is a big rack. Probably a wolf kill or winter kill. Seward Peninsula, Alaska 1981. Found by a bush pilot and brought into the local airport hanger in Nome. At the time they were saying it was a world record. I don't really believe it but it is a monster. That's me in my younger years holding it.

The sheds i am holding im this picture scored 71 and some change weighted 17.5 pound a piece its the same bull two years worth of sheds my friend found them in 07 and sold them so I dont have any other pictures. He found the other side to final score if it had a 50 inch spread was 196 :IBCOOL:
