I still have a couple on my old cell phone, I dont know how to get them off there thou since it is deactivated? There was a buck up there that was an absolute pig, but I believe he got shot. Great place to go and take pictures.

Post by: hunterbuilder on April 13, 2008, 01:25:23 PM: We built a lot of houses in that area and I heard some rumors that some guys shot a couple of the big bucks one year off a lot that was getting cleared. I should of carried a camera more. Would of had a lot more pics.

yeah, it was on his private farm land near Lynden

Yeah, I saw a similar buck in the same general area in Bellingham 2 or 3 years ago. I couldn't say for sure it is the same buck, but it sure looks pretty similar. Not quite as big then though.

I never saw him, but I heard stories of a big buck coming out every morning this past summer where they were doing construction on the Guide. Where they laid all that hay out for whatever reason, the buck would come out and feed right along the road. I believe it was an 6x8 or something along those lines. I only saw a two point and three point and a bunch of does in my commute all summer, but I definitely keep my eyes open whenever I drive through.
