Lets see em... over here, :hello: lets see em...
-
Alec happens to be out of town for the week so it's going to be a while before we see them.
-
Then, what is meant by "lowlands"? Private lands? I know of some NF lands and some private timberlands, I wouldn't necessarily call them low though. Let's see those pics.
-
Would love to see the pics! I lived/hunted in north Skagit County up until about a year ago. I have some pics of some blacktails under Suburban Blacktails in the photography section.

Hey, great pics, thanks for posting, im trying to get the pics from my buddy, but hes being an @$$!!!! ANd is refusing to get them to me, ill try to post some other pics...
-
well how big was the buck??? :dunno:
-
I had some pictures of those some bucks from the same area, but they unfortunately got deleted off the computer. I still have a couple on my old cell phone, I dont know how to get them off there thou since it is deactivated? There was a buck up there that was an absolute pig, but I believe he got shot. Great place to go and take pictures.

We built a lot of houses in that area and I heard some rumors that some guys shot a couple of the big bucks one year off a lot that was getting cleared. I should of carried a camera more. Would of had a lot more pics.
-
about twice as tall as the pic that hunterbuilder posted

Sweet deal. Still looking for some land myself, getting harder to find every day.
-
ya, defintly, i want to get some pics of the 10x13.
-
This isn't the buck you're talking about is it Alec? I don't think he's a 10x13, but he's close. A friend emailed me these pictures. I guess this buck lives in the Yew St./Whatcom Falls area.
-
Wow! Sweet buck Timber. I never saw that one. Did you take the pic?
-
No, it isnt, the buck im talking about lives higher up in the mountans, but that buck is incredibls, thanks for sharing!
-
That's a BIG blacktail...I love that mass on his rack :o
-
I've seen that sucker once or twice. How recent are your pictures? He wasn't quite that big when I last saw him.
-
I've never seen this deer myself. The pictures were taken last October.

Yeah, I saw a similar buck in the same general area in Bellingham 2 or 3 years ago. I couldn't say for sure it is the same buck, but it sure looks pretty similar. Not quite as big then though.
I never saw him, but I heard stories of a big buck coming out every morning this past summer where they were doing construction on the Guide. Where they laid all that hay out for whatever reason, the buck would come out and feed right along the road. I believe it was an 6x8 or something along those lines. I only saw a two point and three point and a bunch of does in my commute all summer, but I definitely keep my eyes open whenever I drive through.

i think the one on the guide was a 5x7
