yeah we had one scheduled, my buddy plays very good, but he couldnt make it.
next year it will be complete. 8)

We always had to work right up till the opener and then it was throw something together and get by, again great job and thanks for the reminder of the good ole days

That right there is what it is all about. Killing anything is just a bonus. I also have to thank you for putting that together. The scenes of the drive up the North Fork from Tampico floods me with memories. Spent many many years doing that exact hunt and it's been too long since I've been back. Watching this was a trip down memory lane. Thank you.

nah :-) We can do it in 1 day set up and take down with 4 guys. It will get easier every year.

Thats right if I am not mistaken and sorry if I am but how is your Dad feeling? You was not sure if he was going to make it to Elk camp or not. I am glad he made it and glad that you are there for him.

The main reason he came home is that he was dissapointed that he couldnt go out and hunt and hike like he has done his whole life. Next year things will be much better and he will not have to sit at the camp fire all day.

I was just thinking that what kind of makes it cool are all of the pictures of the little things - the camp sink, a rack with food on it, etc. Stuff that I wouldn't have ever considered worthy of taking a picture. Lots of guys get a picture of the elk/deer, maybe one shot of their camp from a little distance away and maybe a couple of scenery shots. That's all I've ever done.

Each of those pictures of the little things are probably not noteworthy on their own, but strung together like in that video tell a really, really cool story.

I'd say our camp would rate about halfway between yours and sleeping under a tarp. A TV would be nice to catch up on all the games we miss. Get us another vid next year, and best of luck to your old man too!
