Title: Saw a bear today
Post by: Timber on April 06, 2008, 10:19:12 PM: I saw this bear today while driving over Stevens Pass. He was about 10 miles west of Leavenworth feeding on a green hillside. It took a little bit of hiking to get close enough for a picture.

What camera and lense did you use?

I better call her and tell her to keep tracking those bear until august 1st! ;)

Post by: Timber on April 07, 2008, 09:56:57 PM: The bear was about 150 yds away when I took the picture. Unfortunately, he heard me fighting through the thick brush and crusted snow. I was as surprised as anybody to be driving and see a bright green hill amongst all of the snow covered hills, then to see a dark colored dot in the middle of it.
