great buck love those forks. Once again great pic
-
Looks like he's ready to kick some ass.. tight racked, definitely the dominant buck of the area
-
He had his doe and another nice four point had his doe. A small three took a dive at the 4 points and scared it over into this buck. Talk about walking on eggshells for the big 4. It was all fun to watch. I got a bunch of it on film. More to come
-
Awesome! nice to know there are still bucks like that out there doing their thing.

Sweet buck Bone! A buddy of mine killed a mirror twin of this buck a few years ago. I'll try to get you a pic.

He is one of my favorites from this year. I just can't get over the bases and the mass. I should have spent more time on him. He made December though in my calender. I look forward to his sheds the most this spring. I am certainly hoping!

Yea I can't wait to look for his sheds myself!!
-
Wow, deep forks, great mass and tall. Maybe only 18" wide, but who cares, he's got everything I would want.
-
highest scoring basket I've seen I think.
-
I don't know if you can see it in this pic or not, but check out the moss going up the back of his g2. WOW

A true mossy horn I guess, I can see what i think your referring to.
-
Indeed. My favorite characteristic of all. Takes age, genetics and mass......
I guess I'll post this in two places

To GoldTip... if you look at the book not many record class mulies are over the 30" mark like most people think... Deep forks and mass are what it takes! This is my first post on here so hello to everyone! Doug, I have seen some of your old bucks you shot years ago in the Washington "Record" book... I have the current state record for whitetail deer sheds and some other fairly impressive antlers as well... I'll try to get some pics up and just wanted to say your photography is awesome! Where can I get a large print of this buck or some of your other work? If there available at all... Thanx Levi :hello:
-
Hi Levi. Welcome to the site and thanks! The only thing I have for sale now is that calender in the sponsor section. This buck is December (I think) LOOKING forward to seeing those whitetail sheds. I probably have the muley sheds but haven't registered with the state yet. They are with the national book. Currently #3 in the world. I am almost wondering if this buck isn't some of those genetics. I love big bones. Looking forward to seeing your pics.
-
Would love to see this guy with a bow in my hands. Great buck.
