I finally got to the required 50 posts. Still cannot see the classifieds. It tells me I need to register.. What am I missing?
-
You don't need 50 posts. All you need to do is, log in using your account which is created on the forum. The account you are using right now to post this message..

The classifieds section is a completely different website then this one, it just looks the same and uses the same UN and PW, just log in and buy sumthin !!!

I for the first time can't read the classifieds. Worked this afternoon. I re-logged on and it still tells me to go to registration.
-
Was working for me. Just came from there.
-
I can open the classifieds, but as soon as I select a category, Rifles, Handguns, etc., I get the direction to go to Registration. This just started yesterday afernoon.

That should be all you have to do. Click the " log in " tab and go from there. Same user name and password as here.
It is a completely seperate website so you may have to log in there seperately from time to time.

Thread jack
How do I delete an add from the classifieds?
-
Navigate into the advertisement. There is an menu on the upper right "Product Options". Under this area you can mark it sold. I believe regular members can also mark for delete. But they have to follow the steps to do so. When a product is marked sold or delete it doesn't always automatically disappear from view. At any rate it is marked sold and should expire when the expiration date arrives.

Thanks a bunch Ray!!

When I click on registrate on the classified page, it takes me to the Hunting Washington main page where I am already logged in. I give up! Maybe later on it will work as it has since I joined up.

Oldguy...
Quit clicking on "register" and click on "log in" instead!!!
You're already a registered user...you just need to log in.
-
You see that's where you probably went wrong. You don't need to register. Don't click on the register link because you'll get a session verification error and it's also the wrong thing to do. You should do as Jackelope suggested and log into the classifieds providing the same username and password that you did when you logged in to the forum. The screen will look very similar to the forum login and will be in blue color, but you are actually logging into a separate system from the forum which checks your credentials from the forum database.

Thank you! That solved the problem. That's what I get for following directions and going to "Registration" instead of "Log In." For a senior citizen, this stuff is a challenge.
