Title: Legal Traps?
Post by: cmiller85 on November 16, 2010, 03:32:58 PM
I was looking at the trapping regulations and noticed that only live, non body-gripping traps can be used. Are there legal traps other than a cage traps (of course without having a permit)? Also, what recommendations do you guys have for cage traps when it comes to bobcats and coyotes? This will be my first year trapping so overly detailed, dummy explanations are encouraged!

Thanks

Rat traps and colony cages,,,,,,,,,,

Stacy Yancy once told me anything 15 inch or taller,,,,but that he preferred 18 inch for cats......

Coyotes are not cageable  on a predictable ratio.... areas that don't have food supply will be easier to get one in a cage............

You can also use rat traps for weasels, nice little fur and fun to catch.
