I purchased my elk tag when we hunted the archery season. In order to get a deer tag, do I pay full price or will they let me pay the difference?
Thanks

Pay the difference of what?

$69.20 for a deer elk combo.....but I bought the elk for $45.20. If I buy the deer separate another $45.20 or the difference of $24.

im not 100% sure but since you bought your elk license and tag alone you will have to buy the deer license and tag at the full deer price i dont think you can upgrade to the combo license once you purchase a sigle species license

I wanted to ad Bear to my elk/deer combo. They wouldn't let me pay the difference. wanted the whole cost of a bear tag. told them the shove it.

thanks for the help! I figured that would be the case...guess I have to find an ATM that will give me the money!! LOL :chuckle:

Just log in to where you purchase them online and that should tell you what your options are.

Hate to say it, but your gonna have to take it in the shorts. I made the same mistake a few years ago. Lesson learned.

I'm confused - you need to buy a deer tag if they'll still even let you. It's separate from an elk tag. What "difference" are you referring to?
If you're referring to your hunting LICENSE then, no, you don't need to buy another one of those - just the tag.
If you're referring to buying a deer and elk license separately as opposed to the big game combo, you'll have to pay full price for the tag not "upgrade" to the combo license.
Not sure if I answered your question because I'm not sure of your question.
Anyway, sometimes posts can come across harsher than they're intended and I don't want you to think that I'm treating you poorly - that's not my intention. Please just clarify the question.

Well, damn, there were a lot answers while I was typing that up....
