Title: Now what to do?
Post by: Mr T on November 23, 2010, 07:12:09 PM
I have just been notified that I do not have work tomorrow due to weather  :P, which gives me an unexpected day to hunt before the busy Thanksgiving weekend.  Yet, I am puzzled where to go because I have my 5 yr old boy with me and it is going to be cold and he can't hike very far.  I live in the Bonney Lake area, and have not had any luck receiving permission on private property close to home  :'(, and suggestions?

May not be what you want to hear. BUT I would go somewhere you could just wander around. Keep moving. Kids don't like to be still. You may not do any good hunting, but he will have fun. If you want to have a hunting partner later, KEEP IT FUN! I about lost my boy at that age trying to keep him quiet and still hunting whitetail.
Oh yea. Keep them WARM and DRY, and FULL TUMMIES.
