Well I got up there Friday morning to set up camp. No snow on the ground. Went out and scouted Friday night and saw a few bucks. Later on Friday night it started snowing. On Sunday I saw over 70 deer. Only saw 4 bucks that were 3 points or bigger. Lots of people up on the top of the mountain. A few friends and I have doe tags for the Entiat. On mon. we headed over to Entiat to try for a few does and ended up getting my friend a deer around 3pm. Saw lots of deer. Lots of nice bucks also. The pics are of the bigger bucks from the entiat. Dont have a very good camera so sorry for the blurry pics. Lots of bucks still chasing does. They were all very spooky even the does. I didn't get any shots at any bucks. I just got home and will be heading back over there for the weekend. It was colder than sh*_# out there. Every thing we had was frozen. last night I was drinking a beer and it was freezing in my hand. Ill post any pics Of more pics from this coming weekend. I have to post 3 pics at a time I domnt know how to make them smaller to get alot on one page so I will be here for a bit posting pics.

Nice!!! Guess I'll keep putting in for that tag!

Need a heat seeking arrow that can get out there 250 yards plus. Thats how far away most of them were. They all liked it out in the open side hills.

Thanks huntergreg. Now Im sure to never get drawn for either of the units. Maybe fishing and hunting news will do a "giant bucks" article on Chelan Co so that everyone and their brother will be up there. Maybe they already did and thats why there were 20+ guys up Tibbets mountain last weekend.
-
Yeah. Him posting pics of this top secret units bucks will now make even more people put in. Get real dude. There isn't a handful of people on here that don't already know. But if so all the better for me. Not my first choice of unit anyway:) So you can have it bud;)

those are great pics. thanks for putting them on.

Never had any buck in the swakane that wasnt 150 + yards away. If they were in bow range I would have had one.
All these pics of bucks were in the Entiat. Except the two point and the does where there was no snow. And out of the bigger bucks there were not any monsters over there That we could see. Some nice bucks though. I only got pictures of some buck while we were driving the roads. Never took pics while out hiking.

It has been in more than one magazine already. There was an article about the area in the last issue of Northwest sportsman. It is no secret spot.

The funny thing about that mountain is after a few people get out there and start hiking it they say screw that and head to another part of the unit. 2 guys in my camp hiked from the top all the way to the bottom and when they got back to camp they packed everything up and went up north to a different unit. They didnt like the steepness of it. Same thing as a big camp above us half of them left after the first day.

As cold as it has been lately.....might send a few tucking tail as well. :chuckle:

someone had a stunning realization there "secret spot" isnt that secret. but you're right man this thread will cause thousands of new people to put in for these units, not the hundreds and hundreds of other threads that have been posted over the years? lol you're the one that wrote Tibbets Mountian?
huntergreg its public land that your tax dollars pay for enjoy it and keep the pictures coming :twocents: :twocents:

I have to agree with csoutfitters a bit on this one. Boneaddict posts many awesome pics of great Mule deer every year and I do not have a clue where he is taking his pictures. I have enjoyed the pics on this thread as much as anyone and would have enjoyed them the same without knowing exactly where these bucks were (just Washington). How many times each year do we see multiple guys post a thread "I just drew a tag for so and so unit but don't know anything about it, please help"? This is proof that many guys are information leaches that allow others to do their scouting. I really do not worry about these types of guys killing a trophy but they definately draw quality tags. Each man can obviously do or say what they please but I really think using exact names of areas takes the advantage of being local and/or willing to get out and look for ones self away. Not complaining or trying to tell anyone what to do, just saying.....

finally got to see the pics. Nice!
