In late Sept I placed a camera next to a gut pile from an archery-killed deer. While tracking the deer we found some recent bobcat crap as well as some coyote tracks and I was hoping to get pics of one or the other, or even both.
It only took a couple days and I had pics of both. But neither one stuck around.

The camera and gutpile were only about 5 yards off the road so I decided to move the camera a hundred yards away to the spot where I found old and fresh bobcat sign. I took a couple of buckets of scraps from BLKBEARKLR and set up next to a root wad from a blow down.
After a week I had about 6 pics of a coyote. Then the rains came and I got no pictures after another week so I pulled the camera.

Fast forward to mid November. Bob and I set up a camera in-between the two spots mentioned above. I had some deer scraps, hide, a bucket of buffalo scraps from Michelle and a couple crows I shot the week before.
It only took 4 hours for this bobcat to come check out the goodies. It came in 5 of the last 6 days and I got over 1,100 pictures of him/her.
Most of the photos were at night and the time is off by 12 hours and also 1 hour for Daylight Savings.
Hide Swinging.

Wow, those last two actually turned out pretty good.
They didn't come out of the camera that way. :bash: It took some photoshop processing to clean them up a bit.
Here is one of the originals.

Billy, I have a photo of my bear this year thats really bright and hard to make out. Would you mind taking a look at it?
-
Often when they are bright or blown out by flash there is not much you can do, but if you post a link to it I will take a look.
-
Nice pic's

Love the pics of the kitty...

He was gone for 20+ days, but came back a few nights ago. I got over 16 minutes of trailcam video of him.
-
He came back Friday night and I got another couple minutes of trail cam footage.
-
That awesome. Are you trying to trap him or hunt him or just get pics?
I found some bobcat crap in the road yesterday. Now that I know how to identify it I think I might start having more luck.
