Title: S&W Model 57 41 Magnum... Anyone have any feedback?

Post by: Gutpile on November 30, 2010, 02:52:07 PM: if you don't reload think long and hard about it. the 41 is an awesome caliber but they only run ammo seasonally and it's spendy if you can even find it. If you reload it's tough also. I had bullets on backorder for about 5 months this spring/summer. They came in and I have a lot sitting around but it sucks to wait forever for reloading components as well as loaded ammo. I'd be interested myself in that particular pistol but wanted to warn you the the caliber is a P I T A!!!!

I would love to find a 4" S&W though.

I found quite a bit online, even during the first months after Obama and do also have a guy that reloads for me.

Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy when I shoot it. Buy it, if not you'll wake up in cold sweats wandering what possessed you not to. Small children will point and laugh when you pass by.
