I know not a lot of obummer fans here but you got call it the way it is, both species are recovered and above recovery goals, good for them.
god I wish I was a lawyer can you imagine the billing hours ?? solid work for the next decade. - Ok I was kidding about the lawyer part.
conservatives need not fear obummer the puppy pimps will tear him apart over this.

Now that is a shocker!

Listen to this idiot:
"Wildlife management decisions are supposed to be made based on science, not politics," said Mike Leahy, Rocky Mountain regional director of a private group, Defenders of Wildlife. "It means every time a controversial critter comes up under the Endangered Species Act, Congress could whittle away protections needed to conserve the species."
For a DOW nut he practically made a case for the defense, which could also apply to hound hunting and baiting in the Northwest.
WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT DECISIONS SHOULD BE BASED ON SCIENCE NOT POLITICS!!!!!!
Let the state and US game biologists decide on this one, not an idiot like Judge Malloy.
Game Management has to be dealt with using science only, emotions and sentiment will ruin hunting in the US

Total shocker to me.

wow! do you guys think that those statements will really end up meaning anything though? Sounds great but its almost to good to be true if im reading it right :dunno:

The funny part is the article mentioned in LittleDave's post was written right after Obama's inauguration. He then promptly did nothing about restoring the protection to the wolves. The first article is quite a shock and I am truly hopeful to someday be able to hunt Grizzlies back home in Montana once again. Hell I saw 2 of them in 3 days back home the second weekend of November.

Well, I wont let the chance to hunt a wolf in Idaho pass again...as soon as it becomes available again, I am going down there! Glad to see he is pissing everyone off who used to support him. ;)

WOW it worked!
Idaho governor refuses to enforce wolf poaching, cause he doesn't get to manage the animals his people don't want in the first place.
I like it

Finally something making some kind of sense. Hunted Wyoming this year and there were bears ALL OVER the place. Got charged by one, ended up shooting/killing in self defense, died 20 feet away from me after a 70 foot charge. Game warders said this year alone they trapped 64 bears in the ONE area we were hunting in!

I did the same thing. Won't happen again.

A true conservationist wants recovered species delisted and management returned to the states. Political misapplication will eventually be the doom of the ESA.
