Title: Another cat today
Post by: huntinglonewolf on December 09, 2010, 02:56:41 PM
Caught a small cat in a snare today. Wish I could have turned it loose.

Very pretty cat lonewolf.  Releasing is one of the only advantages to the box traps the way I see it.  Nowadays, if it isn't a decent or better tom, I will release it, but then again, I'm doing it as a wintertime hobby, not a real money making job.

Just goes to show that cats love sleeping on hoods and black plastic.

The jaws don't hurt them but snares make it impossiable to release

I was referring to snares rasbo.  That's good info also on wtsa's site.  I was just trying to find something positive to say about our WA trapping style forced upon us.... :chuckle:
