Here are the rules.
1. Must be first deer ever harvested.
2. Must be under the age of 16
3. Must post in this topic either under your own name or your guardians name and type up the story with pictures.
4. Then in November 2011 we will take all the stories we get on here and do a poll and let the members of the site vote for the best story.
5. This applies to either buck/doe - Whitetail / Blacktail / mule deer.
Have fun and good luck in 2011.

So happy the dummy rounds are working out good for you, great thing you are doing with the hunter education, was the least I could do. If you need anymore you know how to get a hold of me.
Thanks for mentioning that, hopefully we can get some more youngsters on here..

I wish I would have known about this post last year when I got my first deer, I got a nice 4x4! I was only 13 at the time. This year I didn't get one because we only saw one spike, last year we could be picky! I got a bear this year though so I'm satisfied with this year!
Awesome that you got a bear, be sure and post a picture in the brear board or youth board if you haven't.
Still no entries, looks like you need to PM some of the kids NWBREW.... :dunno:

Didn't see the poll . My daughters season just ended with her shooting her first buck and with a bow to boot. If she is not too late i will have her post story. Why would you not wait until bow season is over :dunno:?
Buckman, I would love to see the pictures and the story of your daughters first deer. I do not wait until the end of bow season because I do this kind of full time but mostly as a retirement gig. I usually close the doors around the beginning of December so I can get caught up on everything and get my stuff to the tannery. Right now I am visiting my wife and daughter in Texas, she is still in the Army, so we spend a lot of time apart. If you still have it in the freezer, I will be back after the holidays and I am sure we can get something worked out. Just give me call 253-720-9979.
