Looks like "spots" is winning. That's what I voted for. When I used to do a lot of duck hunting, we killed a lot of ducks in many different spots. I believe some of those spots are still good places to hunt. Good luck!

yea but anybody can find spots. and if its a big spot you still have to find a hole. i probably shoot more ducks on a hole at a spot then anything.

Come on guy's lets not beat around the bush.

Which reminds me, bushes are good too...

bushes near a hole can help sometimes. but sometimes the bush can look out of place and decrease success

or just shave the bush and have a smooth hole....   :chuckle:

That is always preferred.

Or sometimes you must break the ice and make your own hole. But now I'm not sure if that's the same type of hole we're all talking about ???

I didn't see an option for the "X" or has that cliche been beat to death and worn out already?

How bout the tried and true hole?
Or the new hole?
Or the Tiger Woods private hold?

Honey hole has been the best one to me  ;)

why is it that some of the best holes are private?  and the husband will shoot you for being in either one!

people are protective of their favorite holes.

If you want to impress the ladies then find the spot within a hole.  Always good shooting there.

We could keep this going for months!  I am curious to see which will win ..spots or holes?

Stay out of the public holes.

They get worn out pretty quick.

I think the wet spots are the best producers.

Depends on the moment.

I've heard it helps if there's a little hair around the hole.   :dunno:

Helps in locating but those could be more likely to be a bad hole

A dry hole might not be as much fun as a wet hole but it kinda depends on the spot your in on how wet it will be.

Don't forget your flour at home. You never know when you may have difficulty finding the hole.
