I wa sgoing by the look of the deer.   Thinking about the tag, I would bet Canada, but I have no clue what North Dakota deer look like.  I would assume they look Montanish.

Yes, you guys are right, but its North Dakota.  A now friend that I met in Wyoming Archery Elk hunting this year, sent me these same photos and videos of this buck, its his good buddy he took the video.  It is going to possibly be the new North Dakota State record.  You should see the whitetail that my friend killed there this year, it will go high in the books as well.

I didn't realize ND had deer that would hybridize with elk.

How would one stay steady with that buck in his sights?  WOW

Nice buck but not quite as big as it looks, since the guy is "long arming" it in all the photos.   :twocents:

:yeah: and I'd bet that buck weighed double what that guy does soaking wet.

Even so, there's no getting around one it; one of the most fantastic :o mulies ever taken.

Just got off the phone with my buddy.  The buck green scored gross 217, and 199 net will probably be the new state record typical.  A special draw unit, with some huge buck in it!!

ND must have identical tags to SD because that is identical to a SD tag, either way dang nice deer

It doesn't need to be wide to get in the record books.  Most are not wide but tall and this one is certainly tall!

Really small picture...

<humor>  Could not long arm this picture so had to stand behind the buck 20 yards.   </humor>
