Northern Idaho whitetail hunting can be fantastic, I have a buddy that does it every year and he does real well. Call a bio or surf the web you are bound to turn up some good info, might even be some on MM, I remember some posts about ID WT.

Thick with wolves too! Not sure where Sand point is but I have hunted out of the clearwater and had good success. Alot of quad trails that are legal to ride on. Hunt as late in the season as you can , the rut hits the peak towards the tnd of november and you can kill a dandy if you put in your time. Seamed like everyone I ran into was from Washington . We killed 3 Idaho record book bucks that year, smallest was 134 net, biggest being 150. It was a good snow year too. The next year want that good, only saw one "shooter" buck for the week . Just didnt get the weather, bucks stayed nocturnal. Had a wolf kill a 22 inch 140 buck I was watching, too bad.
