Title: Oregons governor tag buck
Post by: buckmaster_wa on December 21, 2010, 11:32:40 PM: Has anyone heard of the 224" governors tag buck that was killed. I heard that Les Schwabs granddaughter had the tag?

Good find, pretty sure it is.. found this to help back it up. Definitely the same rack. A lot of folks are saying John Cole was the guide...

I'd guess John Day area. Just a guess but that's where John Cole hunts. I know he has access to a lot of private land so I would also guess that it was private. But again, nothing but a guess.

I have a buddy who lives next to Les's place in Prineville and had hunted with Les and his relatives. He has been saying for years that when he dies he wants to be reincarnated at Les Schwab's grandson. The guy has every toy known to man and hunts & fishes all over the place.
