What is it?

nice... I've found a big Rosevelt under the moss , just the points 3 inches showing.. Cool find!
Do tou know how to age them??
-
Very unique ALT of a nice elk. Lucky you.

Great picture!!! I need to get down there and pick some of those up myself!

This is one of four I've found like this. The only one I have pictures of though. The bulls often travel up and down the bottom of the washes. A good rain and flash floods will bury any sheds they may have left behind.

Nice find, I've never found any sheds that way before
-
Last year I found whitetail shed that only had 1 1/2" of 2 tines sticking out from underneath a pile of fir needles.
-
We find 'em like that all the time in Colorado, half buried in washes. Good eye!

Found a mulie shed buried like that in a wash in Montana. Looked like it got washed down the hill with the weather and buried in the bottom of a draw. We saw the same thing, just a point sticking up (no camera or I would have taken an ATL).

gramps has a cool story like that from montana, hope he comes on and tells it

I found a white tail shed one year while turkey hunting. We set up on some birds and I sat on it under a pine tree under the needles..
Cool pic!

Neat photo of a good find. I do find buried sheds but its usually pine needles, not washes.
