After much shopping around, I found a promising set of coveralls through Sportsmans guide and figured the price was right. I ordered mediums for the bibs and jacket in black. With ordering the pair i recieved a discount as well as a discount from my membership. I walkd away with the top and bottom for $60 all together. shipping is never horrible from sportsmans guide and i had other items in the basket as well.

Upon arrival and initial inspection i was already pleased with my purchase. The zippers were strong (a pet peeve of mine) and the material was sturdy. I found no loose stitching or un even hemms.
I took them for a test drive with simple tasks like walking my hunting area and scraping snow and ice off my jeep. I continued to maintain a pleased state. I am 5-5 and an athletic 145 pounds so obviously the medium bibs i ordered were too long but the rest of the fit was very nice. I would like a deeper hood but that is probably a personal prefference.
I have now been using these for about 2 months to plow snow, change broom cores, have snowball fights, change grader blades, operate snow equipment, and i even took them hunting once.
I like the zippers up the legs to the thights. Buttons and snaps function well. I have crawled under equipment to replace shear bolts, unbolt plow blades, and numerous other jobs and the floor is always snow and water covered. They arent water proof but they are farely resistant. I can get a decent job done on my butt in the slush and usually i get away with dry underwear.
The night i took them hunting i sat in a high seat in a crisp windy 15 degrees for about 2 hours. They cut the wind great and werent too loud either. i did end up feeling the cold through the leg zippers as i wasnt wearing much of a base layer.
A couple other guys working with me liked mine so much that they had me order them a set for them.
The purchase turned out great and I recomend it to anyone looking for a cheaper than carhart substitute.

I like the bibs..they do make them in short sizes,or did anyway...
I got a mind picture of that guy on Swamp People that wears the coveralls cut off at the knees with no shirt on and bare feet,
