Title: WWPHA FoxPro E-Caller Raffle - open to everyone.
Post by: billythekidrock on January 13, 2011, 05:27:10 AM
As many of you know, we were given a new, in the box, FoxPro Firestorm E-Caller from Jerry Malbeck and Mike Dillon of FoxPro for a fund raising prize for a "Kids Day" at the range. We need everybody's help in this one. We hope to to be able to provide them with some hands-on training in firearm safety, introduction to WDFW and an opportunity to shoot at the range. We are selling tickets from now until March 31st.

They are $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00. If you would like some, send your check (made out to WWPHA) or cash to: WWPHA, 1510 199th Ave E. Bonney Lake, WA. 98391

Include your name address and phone number so we can send you your ticket stubs.  If you wish to pay via PayPal, send the funds to randysuccow@wwpha.com followed by an additional E-Mail to the same address with the name used on your PayPal account (so we can match payment) and the address to send the ticket stubs.

Here is a picture of the call.

What is the deadline for ticket purchase and when is the drawing?
Title: Re: WWPHA FoxPro E-Caller Raffle - open to everyone.
Post by: billythekidrock on January 13, 2011, 05:33:15 AM
Last sentence of the first paragraph.

With a cap of 200 tickets.
Title: Re: WWPHA FoxPro E-Caller Raffle - open to everyone.
Post by: Skyvalhunter on January 13, 2011, 05:37:19 AM
Cool so the drawing is on the 31st too.
Title: Re: WWPHA FoxPro E-Caller Raffle - open to everyone.
Post by: btlsoom on January 13, 2011, 07:26:06 AM
The drawing could possibly happen sooner if the cap on ticket sales is reached.  Other than that, we have to give everyone the opportunity to enter up to and including March 31. If it does go the the last day, we will draw the following day.

Thanks for your interest..

Randy

MAYDAY - MAYDAY - ! ! !  I just got a call from PayPal saying that it is against their policy to allow the use of PayPal for a raffle or prize selling adventure.  So.. from now on, please do not indicate the transaction is for the raffle but note it with FPKD (FoxPro Kids Day).  I have not had to do anything yet but please keep it low key when paying through them.  Lets see if we can sneak this to the end.

Thanks..

Paypal is anti-hunters, anti-guns, anti anything but taking fees and money! I hate to even use them.... but I want to be sure I get in on this and the tickets dont run out before my check gets there! Put me down for a book of 10, if I send a check TODAY will you hold them for me or do you prefer I use Paypal? Don they take about a 10% of your payment?

Oh dude... that is just wrong! I couldnt stand the intense anxiety I'm getting waiting for the drawing so I just went to FoxPro's website and straight ordered one instead! (and since I never win anything anyway) Supposed to be here by Friday. Thats probably a sure bet that I will now win the drawing...until I just jinxed myself by saying something. Oh well, at least I made a good donation for the Kids. (yeah, just keep telling yourself that tripple...)

I am trying to set up the drawing for this Saturday, the 12th.  I need to see if some member from the HW forum would be present so there is people other than WWPHA people present to assure a "legit" drawing.  Was looking at Saturday afternoon somewhere in the Lacey area, probably the Starbucks by the Safeway off of Marvin Road about 2:00.  Let me know.

Since it is going to be too rainy to hunt, I may be able to make it over there. As a member of both HW & WWPHA hopefully that would be transparent enough. I know most would trust you if you drew yourself, but having a few members from both should satisfy the conspiracy theorists.  :chuckle:

Well, we had a gathering of the minds Saturday at 2:00 p/m and had the ever so secretive drawing for the ever in such demand FoxPro Firestorm E-caller.  The participants at the secretive drawing at the Starbucks in the Safeway parking lot were, in no particular order of importance or of showing up were NaturalSelection, BTKR, BTLSOOM and EBNME.  (What a bunch that was).  Well, after introductions, coffee and waters and a little BS... we had the drawing.  And guess what?   We have a winner.   So, if you want to know, or have a desire to be made aware of sooner that later, I am accepting bribes.  I will give you a few hints though.

1.  They participate in either the HW or the WWPHA forums or possibly both.  :bash:
2.  They live in the vicinity of Washington.
3.  They hunt predators.
4.  They will soon find out they won..
5.  I hope they want to sell it cheap.... i get first try at it   :chuckle:

Opps, just got called for dinner, be back sooner or later with a name once I remember who it was....   :dunno:

Thanks again for all that participated...
