Title: Skull Shot
Post by: sakoshooter on January 13, 2011, 10:46:39 AM: Not sure if you guys have seen this or not. I'm guessing the guy fell on this arrow but I can't find any info on it. Cool pics though. Looks like a NAP Thunderhead. I think that if it'd been shot, it would have penetrated much, much more.

Story goes they were hunting and saw a deer when "shooter brother" standing behind "shooty Brother" drew his bow and accidentally shot him from point blank range. That is supposedly why it didn't penetrate any further than it did.

we are about due for the deer getting shot infront of the trail cam to come around again. then the elk hunter with the cougar behind him.

I think it was on Tv on a hunting show, Not sure but that was the story then. Mike

Picture #4, doesn't belong in this series. In the first 3 pics, the broadhead is stuck in this guys skull to the base of the broadhead/end of the arrow. In picture #4, only half of the broadhead is through that piece of bone, and yes, it does appear to be a 4 blade broadhead in the first 3 pics. My :twocents:

To say this was an accident is total CRAP! The person that shot that arrow shold be charged with wreckless endangerment at the very least, if he hasn't been charged with a crime already.

People that shoot single cam bows :chuckle: And ya that is a thunderhead. I would recognize it anywhere, i shoot them.
