Title: HB 1009 Limiting the athority of SA to enter agreements with FEDS for ESA
Post by: Special T on January 18, 2011, 09:35:09 AM
Concerning the authority of certain state agencies to enter into agreements with the federal government under the endangered species act.

http://apps.leg.wa.gov/billinfo/summary.aspx?year=2011&bill=1009 (http://apps.leg.wa.gov/billinfo/summary.aspx?year=2011&bill=1009)

It would seem that some of our Reps want to keep State Agencies on a shorter leash regaurding the ESA..
It esentially requires a vote of the legislature to enter into agreements... I think it is a good idea and one of my reps is a sponsor.. Atta boy Kirk Pearson! let your legislators know how you think!

 Pearson is mine too.
Sent letter of support even though the form said 1009 was not a valid bill  so I just left it out and put it in the subject line

THANK YOU Mr.Pearson for sponsoring this  (1009)bill!!!

                                                                 Respectfully
