Title: Young ethical and safe bow hunters looking for hunting permission.
Post by: anglinarcher on April 28, 2008, 03:03:23 PM: I am 17 years old and despriatly looking for a spot to hunt turkeys with a few buddies. We all bowhunt and are all safe ethical shots and treat everyones land as if it was ours.
My friends are 16, 17, and 16, years old and we all have been trying hard to find a good spot to hunt. We practice all year round and take hunting serious with a good deal of responsibility. We don't have anything to offer except some venison this coming fall or some wood chopping/yard work.

If you want private land to hunt you got to go door to door. Landowners want to meet the person that will be on their property and see if they can trust you. I have found it always helps to have a cooler full of salmon, halibut, crab, or shrimp when I ask for permission...

We are done going over there for the season now that the snow has cleared out on our closer propertys. There is 700 acres there you can hunt. There is also a cabin if you want to stay there instead of driving. There is pleanty of room for 3 of you to hunt. Coasthunterjay can tell you where to find em and that you need to be in shape for this property !! Call me and I will get you directions. 877-351-9846. We got a good Rio this morning in Elk. 10 incher.
