I just got a T3 300 WIN MAG, Cant wait to put my Leupold 4.5 X 14 VXIII ON TOP!!! Anyone else got one of the rifles?
-
No dislikes.
-
T3 in .270 WSM. Like
-
T3 Varmint 22-250, T3 lite in 300 WSM. Both amazing guns and seem to shoot very well with all the loads I try.
-
T3 in .243 and it shoots where I point it. Great deer rifle and no problems so I wouldn't ever consider selling it.
-
T3 SS lite, 7mm. Killed my Dall's sheep and my caribou, soooo no complaints.
-
I love mine. 223 Varminter with a 3.5-10 x 50 Leuy VXIII on it. I love how it uses a clip, smooth action and very accurate.

I love mine! I don't like the detachable mag but really love the rifle. Mine is a .243 I bought for calling coyotes, I wish I had bought it years ago.
-
I have a T3 in .300 WSM...love it. I call it "The Mule". It has been a great gun so far...2 Deer, 3 bear and 1 yote have fell under its spell. Enjoy!
-
got two, like both
-
Tikka T3 Lite in 300 Win Mag - LOVE IT!
-
I've been looking at getting a left-hand tikka T3 lite, has anyone here had or heard of any bad experience with a left-handed version?

Check Kesselrings out, they got a great deal on some leftover lefties that they are putting on sale. Have no idea the price they are going to ask.
I have the .300 WSM and so far LOVE IT!

Besides everythings backwards :chuckle:
-
270wsm here-no complaints except for the cost of extra clip
-
T3 Lite 7mm Mag, Love it. Got 3 new extra clips for $20 each online. Should have bought 5. :bash:
-
How many times do you guy's shoot at your deer? :chuckle:
-
Where online did you get your clips?
-
Sorry, should have added to the above reply that I bought my son one in 7mm-08 and he loves it. I liked the clip because for a new or inexperienced shooter it is easier and safer to load/ unload while hunting.

300 wsm great rifle shoots awesome.I put a muzzle brake on it and a limbsaver. You never knew you pulled the trigger
-
Cool, thanks.

Very solid guns. You will love it. You won't hear very many negatives about the tikkas. Customer service is a little crappy now days and sometimes the mags are spendy. But you can find good deals from time to time. But the guns are what count, and they are great.

Tikka 3 30-06
Tikka 3 7mm-08 youth
Good guns with no complaints so far. My son took a decient doe with the 7mm-08 this year.
-
dumb question, what is a tikka and/or a t3? do they cost lots like a kimber? mike w
-
Very reasonably priced ;)
-
got one in .338 federal, love it, put a limbsaver on it!
-
tika t3 300 WSM. Nice and lite, recoil is good, accuracy good, and has handled the pacific NW rain better than some of my other guns. Dislikes....the safety even though I like that style, similar to the remengton model 700, just not as good and the clips rattle with bullets in them....kinda annoying.
-
Does anyone have the Tikka T3 "superlite"? If so how do you like it? I've been reading about it and it's the same as the T3 Lite with a fluted barrel. Only Cabelas and Sportsman's Warehouse are supposed to have them. :)
-
One of the best guns for the money you can buy. Made by Sako, shoots a min ang. right out of the box. Great gun John.
-
My Tika 300 wsm is an awesome gun, shoots real flat. I have a great 3 inch group a 300 yds with some 165 gr. nosler partions. I would buy another. I did have to upgrade my scope mounts as the recoil cracked the front one, I think those were nikons (cheap):dunno: I guess thats a common problem, the 60 $ leapold mounts seem to work just fine.
-
Get some deadnutz or talleys scope mounts you won't regret it. The deadnutz you can buy online and they are the easiest mounts I ever installed.
-
I have a few T3's in SS lite. Love the gun and think best overall firearm ( weight, accuracy, trigger, etc) for less than $1000. In the heavier calibers replace the rings as mentioned with Talley lw, warne or deadnutz :twocents:
I think the rings that come with the T3 work fine for the .25 caliber models and below :twocents:

I have owned a T3 in 30-06 for about six years. I have had zero problems. It's just a great gun, period.
-
:)bunch of em from 223 thru 300 mags. None of mine have "clips" :P they all have magazines!
Great buy, I think the best deal out there 5-600 for a very light accurate rifle.

I own a Tikka t3 lite and love it. Its in .270 and is a great shooter. Can't get a better gun for the money, in my opinion
-
I am posting pics of mne tomorrow, will have all my work done on her....
-
Tika 300WSM- We have four of them in elk camp so we never have to worry about running out of ammo! Love everything about it except the clip seems a little cheap and the spring can rattle if your carrying it in your pocket. Tack driver.

by the way, I am in the process of having some clips made to take up to 2.995 COAL rounds for the 270/300 WSM Tikka 3. Im still out about two months on the final project. Anyone interested. Probably sell the early takers for around $50 each. Custom mags for custom rounds.

This is a great idea.
Guys have resorted to milling a groove down the front of the mag to gain some clearance for COAL.
I'm curious to see the finished product or a prototype.

Heres my lady, 300 WIN MAG, with Leupold VXIII 4.5 X 14 with BDC....
