Here are some pictures of a weirdo nontypical buck . Thought you might like to see the whole mount instead of just the nose. This is the buck I did the pictorial on. I think I will be taking this mount to the Boise Taxidermy competition on June 5Th to see how my retail taxidermy work holds up to the competition work. Its always nice to get good criticism from a competition judge. Enjoy the pictures. This is a neat Buck.

That's a sweet looking buck! Nice job on the mount.
-
Yah man.....good job. Facial detail is great.
-
Outstanding. Did you have a full back seem, or just up by the ears? Somebody should be very happy with that.
-
It was split all the way up the back. Something I have been really working on is the sewing part. I want to be able to sew and make a perfect seam. I am getting better but not perfect yet.
-
Great Job, nice looking mount
-
very realistic mount and cool antlers
-
Awesome work. Goofy looking deer.
-
NICE WORK! gotta love them goofy non-typs too
-
Another Excellent piece by Bucklucky!

 Nice looking mount Bucklucky.
I don't care for the long incision all the way down the back. I try to use a short "Y" on deer as much as I can. Either way it realy doesn't bother me. Sometimes it is easier for hunters to cape a deer with the long "Y". :)

Congratulations on a terrific mount! Good luck in Boise!
-
Nice work Charlie!!! Can't wait to bring a buck out to ya, hopefully I can pull off a mounter muley, whitetail, and blacky this year. Still don't have my avatar buck back, stopped by his shop 2 months ago, he told me he'd have it done in a week!! It'll be 3 years in Oct. Hope your turn around is a little better. grin.....
-
great looking mount! good luck in boise if you go.
-
nice work charlie :) You better be carefull showing pics like that. too many more and you will be to busy to go hunting anymore :chuckle:
-
He's got a new shop to pay for.
-
and its big enough to put alot of critters in there. once he gets the monster trucks out
-
I'm hoping he sends me the design plans as I want a trophy room/game room.
-
I wouldn't mind owning a real monster truck! I would have a panel like gravedigger and put my Charlies Taxidermy logo on the sides! But till then I will stick to my mini monster trucks!! Cant wait to get that shop finished. Man I am slow on that thing. Still think the show room/man room will be 12 x 36 with a real high vaulted ceiling. I would like to put up the tongue and groove pine. Not sure though.
-
Oh YA , Jud I am a year or less on turnaround, Just think if you would have brought it to me you would have been enjoying the mount for 2 plus years :chuckle: :violent1:
-
I have a 12X34 that is about half done. It only has 9' celings. Now I need to harvest some wall hangers.
-
thats an awesome deer!
-
I have looked at this thread and pictures more times than I can count.
I is one of the best looking mounts I have seen. Makes my Muley mounts look kind of lame.
GREAT WORK!
-
