Anyone got any suggestions? I am tired of powder sticking in my measure. I have tried dryer sheets to wipe everything down, but its not working like I had hoped. If I can't get rid of it, what can you use to clean all the powder out of the measure?
-
I have never had that problem.
Maybe it's the plastic scoop and pan I use on the scale :dunno:

Static electricity is increased in areas or environments with low humidity.
You can reduce the amount of static electricity in a small area by installing our using a portable room humidifier.

is it a new powder measure i noticed the first dozen or some times that i used mine that the powder stuck to the sides took forever to clean but the more i used it the better it got i just figured it was just some residual oils from the manufacturing process
-
It was brand new!, Maybe that's it, Does that oil affect the powder in a negative way? Cause I loaded some rounds, haven't shot them yet, but don't wanna be surprised if it hurts the powder ;)

i didnt notice any but i suck with a pistol so who knows

After you've ran some powder through the powder thrower, the graphite in the powder will slick things up and the powder will stop sticking.
About every new powder thrower does this.

:yeah: To the T, spot on.

I thought i read somewhere that wiping it down with a drier sheet solves the problem... Never tried it but it'd be woth a try.

I've tried the dryer sheet, didnt work for me.
Just fill the thrower with some larger stick powder, throw it back in the jug. Five minutes of throwing charges back in the can and problem fixed.

The graphite trick works well. It also helps to ground the device. I do that with my shotshell reloaders to help with powder flow through the drop tube.
