Awesome thanks guys. I think im gonna do the bighorn over the elkhorn. Right now you get a hat and a carrying case :IBCOOL:
-
I could be wrong, but I think their only taking orders right now for the Bighorn.

The biggest reason I like the Bighorn(have 3)there made in the U.S.A. and have the green mountain barrel.Don't trust something made in Spain. :twocents:

Ya there taking a $50 deposit then when it is shipped in march they will bill you for the rest.

Check out my post in the elk horn vs. Bighorn thread. Yes they do come with all three nipples.
-
pre order only. They will be shipped some time in May from what they say

Just bought a new Bighorn. First muzzleloader. I have a couple of questions about it that I can't find the answers to anywhere. First...does it have the bullet alignment deal like alot of other new muzzleloaders. T/C calls it Quick Load Accurizor (QLA), other companies call it different things. Also, I was wondering if peep sights are readily available for them. I've read that they have a "cool new ramrod," but whats cool and whats new about it. Thanks

No accurizer gadget. Doesn't need it and I don't know if those things even have a benefit other than making it a little easier to stuff a bullet down the bore. You will have no issues with your Bighorn in that regard. Williams makes a peep sight that will fit using the existing predrilled holes; it is the way to go. I believe the model is the FP-LEGEND. The cool ramrod Knight is selling is a range rod and they want about 75 bucks for it. Personally, I get by with the rod that came with the gun. It's the rod I will use in the field and I'd rather stay familiar with it for when I will need it.
