I found a monster whitetail shed this Saturday. No ATL pic because the batteries were dead in my camera, but I'll post up a pic here in the next day or so. You have to see this one to believe it.

This is pretty funny....i got the same response about my elk shed this year......those damn characters are rediculous.....hahahhaha :chuckle:
-
Looking at the title it is a little misleading. O.K. a lot. I was thinking it would score 200 mm easy. ;)

Seriously, When were Coues deer brought into Washington?
-
To help with the perspective a little, here is my lovely assistant modeling the jackalope horns.

I'd say thats a little under 200 :chuckle: :chuckle:
-
This is sort of like those 300 pound blacktails. Glad you found a nice shed though.
-
Even your model is mossy faced! nice perspective ...he doesn't look thrilled with you! :bdid:
-
Yeah and I've got an 14 inch.......nevermind
-
BTW I'm gonig to say 179 mm!

:yike: You are always guessing conservative. give this guy some credit. It took a lot to grow this monster rack. :chuckle:
Is that gross or net? Lets get this clarified right up front.
To be fair, my poor dog was asleep when I started to take the picture, then woke up as the flash was going off. He really doesn't have a drinking problem. Maybe the nails I used to tack the horns on had some sort of affect. It does look a lot bigger when you can hold the camera 6" away and still get everything in the photo.

I'd say it is about like the 200" moose sheds found up there by a well respected member of this site. :chuckle: :chuckle:
-
For some reason I don't think your model feels like he is getting paid enough to do your dirty work. Don't be surprised if he does a little :pee: job on you. :chuckle:
-
I'm guessing that the spread is going to be a good solid 9". That might be too small to keep it out of the record books. :bash:
-
Might want to keep the stomping grounds of that monster a closely guarded secret. Dont want the fellows from Utah horning in on your ground................. :chuckle:
Sage
-
im going to guess alot less than even 179......
someone needs to get a measuring tape and tell s some dimensions?
-
Maybe this is a little closer to what you were after !!!

I keep seeing references to this but can't find an old post or pics of these sheds. Enlighten me.
I think 180's for sure. Love the dog. He's impressed.

He is still alive?
-
Last year he was, and they found a similar set that day that looked to be maybe a couple years younger, deffinately same genes.
-
He lives Bone! :o He's got some balls that's for sure... :chuckle:
-
Yeah, I am glad that moose is still alive as I'd love to see him, but I was talking about you Shane. ;)

Strap it to the dogs head, he will look like Max from the Grinch :chuckle:
