Years ago I had a whitetail mounted by a taxiidermist who come to find out was a little bit of a hack(rest his soul). When I called to see if my deer was done he informed me he had a little problem and when he went to hang the head on the wall the horns hit the wall so he was having to put a plaque with a bracket on it to offset it from the wall! Being young and dumb I just wanted my deer so it has been that way ever since. My brother who went to taxi school 6 years ago and dabbles some on our stuff found this habitat you can add to mounts and I thought it would look way better than the plaque and could maybe hide the fact that the thing sticks out from the wall a few inches. He got me the habitat and mounted it up for me and I think it looks good. The mount still sucks but I can live with it for now. This type of habitat is a neat addition to existing mounts you if you want to change things up or enhance a mount you have. Its fake buck pretty realistic with lots of different options for rocks, limbs and stuff. nwhunter
