My son took a set with him to school for show and tell and when the teacher asked where he found them he told her "in the woods". I was sooo proud. He is trained well. :chuckle:
-
lol, thats awesome. I shot my first deer when I was 10. We pulled into a gas station and a hunter pumping gas next to us asked me where I shot it, I responded "right behind the shoulder". My dad just about died laughing and still likes to bring it up any chance he gets. :chuckle: :chuckle:
-
Thats funny, you learned early :chuckle: :chuckle:
-
My kids have all learned every deer we've killed was shot on "Notellum Ridge". ;)

how is this for comparison? for some reason i think you might have been trespassing?
-
Same buck but a month apart. No reason to accuse someone of trespassing. Deer can move a long ways in a day let a lone in a month.
-
it r means he mite been tresspassins becuz that buck aint moved much, we gots eyes in da perameter.

yeah except i still know where that buck is where it sleeps all day and according to my neighbor people have been trespassing there lol he doesnt go far at all with the same group of does all winter and was still a week ago it has the same route every day
-
dem housed deers, they don"t moov much. no reezen too. they gets everything they need right ther.
-
if he has permission to be up on that private property ill just call the the land owner and ask, as far as i know there isnt suppose to be anyone up there, and if so then i guess not much i can say, just sucks i guess to feed that deer every day for the last 7 months and have someone else pick up the antlers...
-
Definitely the same buck. :stirthepot:
-
Sounds like some jealousy to me. :dunno:
If you got a bone to pick just contact the guy instead of calling him out on an open forum.

Kind of like that one SS killed on the late tag a couple seasons ago huh? :chuckle:
-
Poor guy, you spent all that money on deer food for nothing :'(
-
only a couple hundred bucks no big deal right i was just feeding him so someone else would have the oppurtunity to get some nice sheds :) cuz im just a nice guy like that, lol oh well thats life right
-
There is no reason to accuse someone of trespassing just because they found the antlers of a buck that was in your yard. I find a ton of antlers from bucks that feed and water on private land but move up 1000 to 2000 feet daily, where they are fair game. If your going to accuse someone of trespassing this is not the place to do it, and you better have some solid proof. :twocents:
-
Gotta love the drama that shed pics create on the internet. 8)
-
hed have to travel about 2 miles to get to public land but i guess i could be wrong and ill be man enough to admit it if i am, im not pissed off or anything it just sucks lol what can you do tho right
-
well i guess congrats on finding those sheds even as much as id like to be mad about it lol hope no hard feelings i apoligize for accusing u of trespassing one way or the other

TWO MILES!?!? Are you kidding me? Man, you need to get a map! I also watched this buck ALL winter and knew his daily routine, what deer he was hanging with, when (to the day) of when each of them dropped and I know exactly where the property lines are. Yes, he spent alot of time on private ground but by no means was he ALWAYS on private. Thanks for feeding MY deer all winter though and thanks for the trailcam pic. ;)

I like how you say its YOUR deer, hahahahahahah, thats an incorrect statement, if its your deer im sure you have documents saying it, and realistically the only way its your deer is if you harvest it, good luck saying that its YOUR deer ahaha

Predatorpro, u apologized on open forum.... I am sure may of us accept that. I do... A great buck! lets just hope he doenst get hit by a car or poacher and you guys will be chasing him again!
-
I will clarify this one time and then I am done with this nonsence! Predatorpro, obviously you werent sincere with your apology if you apologize and then turn around and start insinuating that I was trespassing again! Jesus man, Im not checking my inbox every 5 minutes to see what stupid comment your gonna write next....so sending me 3 messages in 10 minutes isnt going to accomplish anything that 1 wouldnt. Understood??
Now, for the deer....Yes, there is a wonderful invention called a spotting scope (kinda like a big magnifying glass) I would check on the deer periodically throughout the WHOLE winter and watched him EVERY DAY for a MONTH prior to him dropping, most of the time twice a day, hence the comment "been watching this buck for over a month." Hopefully that clears things up a bit for ya since you are STILL making accusations!
-
Congrats on a fine set Booner!! Sounds like your vigilance and patience paid off. Thanks for posting them. If they irritate you Booner just put them on ignore I have a couple shed hunters that are on my ignore list and you don't even see their stupid comments.
-
You guys live in the same town, you should hook up and have a cat fight.Come on, enough already.Starting to sound like the whiners from Yakima cryin around about "their" elk sheds.Booner, nice sheds, kudos to you.Predator Pro,if you dont have proof, shut the f*%k up already.Don't apologize, don't cry, just shut up.If you would have picked them up I am sure you would be singing a different tune.Once again, way to put in the time Booner, you DESERVED to find those.

This is awesome! Almost like a reality show, only you read it instead of staring at the t.v.! I even was able to pull a sweet new quote from booner for my new signature! :chuckle:
-
WOW. I grew up in wenatchee. When we where kids we would walk through the orchards to get to the hills to hike, ride bikes, ect. If we would have picked up a set of sheds would we have been in trouble for trespassing? Probably not. Times have changed. Lived by the high school. went up through the orchards up to saddle rock. Also had a orchard on the heights. Hunted coyotes walking through orchard to orchard. :dunno: :dunno:
