Title: Arrows

OK.  I'm going to ask the question here for educational purposes.  Is it a reasonable option to use a field tip on an arrow when hunting turkey?  Or, is this a  :bdid:?

Very bad idea. It will not kill them just wound them. Unless you hit them in the head. Use a broadhead.

I put a field tip through a quail once, dead center after ricocheting off the gravel road... the only reason I recovered that bird was the arrow caught in the brush it tried to fly through.  Bad Idea!
