Title: Arrows
Post by: Gobble Doc on February 15, 2011, 08:52:00 PM: OK. I'm going to ask the question here for educational purposes. Is it a reasonable option to use a field tip on an arrow when hunting turkey? Or, is this a :bdid:?

Post by: lokidog on February 17, 2011, 07:49:20 PM: I put a field tip through a quail once, dead center after ricocheting off the gravel road... the only reason I recovered that bird was the arrow caught in the brush it tried to fly through. Bad Idea!
