Title: How many trail cams do you have?
Post by: bowhunterforever on February 17, 2011, 06:46:59 PM: How many trail cams do you have and what kinds? So far i only have 2 both and both are moultrie D40 and D50. Both take decent pics and have good battery life. So how many do you have?

The 2 at home are Moultries.
In the woods are 2 Bushnells, 3 Vildview 2.0 and 2 Wildview 3.0

I'm looking for another option such as an external battery so I can leave them out in the woods more without spending a fortune on D batteries. I want to get at least three or four more, but I'm waiting for a screaming good deal. I'd prefer to spend not more than about $60 per camera.

:yeah: Me too. Although lately I've been eyeing them with interest. Still, it seems risky to spend big bucks on somthing, take it out and tie it to a tree, and hope it's still there when I went back. I'd have to set it up in a pretty secluded area.

I just bought those trophy cams at Cabelas in Boise. Bargin cave: brand new just no boxes. All the cords still in sealed plastic. $125 for the bone collecter Versions. :IBCOOL:

What models of moultries do you have?
[/quote I have old school 5 megapixel ir cameras. One is 4 years old no issues with it.

Post by: Todd_ID on February 26, 2011, 12:56:37 AM: Think I'm at 5 now. One Moultrie 4.0 and 4 homebrews. Moultrie is good for about 8-10 days and homebrews generally 4-6 weeks.
